Edgy Zion Elopement

Candid Bridal Portraits after the Edgy Elopement in Sedona

I love this Edgy Zion Elopement so much!

The red rock is an incredible backdrop for all your wedding photos! I loved that Kate & Caleb felt the same way and wanted to have an edgy Zion elopement only surrounded by their friends and family. It was honored to be apart of such a special day!! Kate and Caleb met years ago while hiking in the Grand Canyon. Both Kate and Caleb went hiking to escape their jobs and everyday life. Both Kate and Caleb felt like something was missing from their lives, in result they decided to go on a month long hike to find themselves. Not knowing they would meet the love of there life in the process! These two met in passing and started to chat since both of them had not seen any other hikers in days. The began to hike together for companionship in the hot days, and would camp together in the chilly nights.

That created a strong bond through this journey. After the month long trek through the Grand Canyon Caleb and Kate began dating. They have been together for 3 years when Caleb proposed in the Grand Canyon where their love began. They decided to have their elopement in Zion Utah with the red rock behind them as they said there vows. Kate and Caleb are travelers, adventurers, and of course animal lovers. They have 2 Siberian Huskies, and a Siamese cat at home that they absolutely adore. Both of them wanted to bring their fur babies with them but were afraid of them getting lost in the Utah desert.

Instead they decided to have boho and edgy touches at their wedding. With macrame and wildflowers. With Kate in combat boots and Caleb in a wooden tie, it matched their personalities perfectly! To find Caleb’s wooden tie click here: www.woodenbowties.com

While driving to their ceremony spot Kate found wildflowers on the side of the road. She used those flowers for her bouquet and arch! How incredible is that? It really pulled this edgy Zion elopement together. They decided to add vintage furniture to add to the aesthetic to the wedding. Which they rented from a local business in Springdale Utah right outside of Zion.
