Instagram seems to be ever-changing. With new updates introduced this weekly, this may feel frustrating and a wedding photographer. Let me give you a few marketing tips to ease your mind and efforts.
It’s not a secret that photos don’t perform as well as reels. My suggestion? Still tag your location. Tagging your venue can help you find new couples. If a soon-to-be-married couple are scrolling through the Instagram feed of a venue they are considering, many look at tagged photos to see the vision of how their wedding could look. This strategy is simple, but still works for me today.
Stay up with the changes
Reels are huge on Instagram. Adam Mosseri recently introduced 90 second reels as well as pinning photos at the tops of your feed. When these changes are introduced, the people who jump on the trends first can have success. If you don’t try, you won’t be successful.
Share your face
There is no shortage of wedding photographers, so what is most important is showing your face and helping your followers get to know you. Being yourself is what will help you stand out. Engaging with your audience with polls/questions is important too! Let me know if these instagram updates for wedding photographers work for you!
