Outdoor Utah Venues

These are the best wedding venues in Utah!

Canyons, mountains, trees, and forests—that’s an image straight out of a fairytale… or it’s Utah. Whether Utah is a destination of your dreams or it’s the place you call home, it’s filled with picture perfect spots that lay out a beautiful landscape for a wedding. In the warm months of the summertime, Utah weddings are filled with flowers and greenery. In the cooler months, you can expect to see snow-capped mountains and icy hues. Either way, outdoor wedding venues in Utah is the way to go to take advantage of the incredible scenery!

Utah has a lot of square footage of nature to offer (84,899 square miles to be exact!), so if you’re trying to hone in on a few venues, I’m here to help. I’ve put together a list of 10 beautiful outdoor wedding venues in Utah. Coming from a total perfectionist and wedding photographer, I can guarantee your photos will be breathtaking in any of these spots. Besides the photos, though, these are lovely places to bring your friends and family to celebrate the big “I do!”

The Lodge at Blue Sky

You’ll know you reached The Lodge when you pass under the wooden arch engraved with “Blue Sky Ranch.” This venue has an old time ranch-and-tavern feel to it, but it comes with a lot of space (3,500 acres!), so every couple can make it their own for the big day. This is just one of my favorite outdoor Wedding Venues in Utah because of how it looks so much like Southern California. At The Lodge, you have the option to keep everything completely indoors at one of three cozy event spaces…Or you can make your Mr. & Mrs. moment an outdoor affair and take the party inside after! Cushings’s Cabin and Empire Canyon Lodge

Cushing’s is a quaint lodge that hosts space for special events—including weddings, of course! For an outdoor ceremony, you’ll be located at 9,100 feet on Flagstaff Mountain. That means full 360 degree panoramic views of the Wasatch Mountain Range. When it’s time to party, the reception at Empire Canyon Lodge is a nice match with the Cushing’s ceremony. The cabin is siloed off on its own, so it really feels like your reception is just between you and your loved ones. Cushings Cabin & Empire Canyon Lodge
