If the vision you have for your wedding is far from cookie-cutter, starting with an unexpected or unconventional venue is the way to go. Utah is filled with unique utah wedding venues. You know, the kind of place that makes your wedding an experience rather than simply an event. As a wedding photographer, providing the best experience is my priority (besides taking timeless photos). Picking a utah venue that will give you an experience can make your wedding day unforgettable can be hard! That’s why i’m here to help! I’ve photographed 1000’s of weddings all over Utah.
Airbnb
Renting out an Airbnb for your intimate wedding is the perfect excuse to have a small wedding. Make sure that whoever you are renting from know that there is an event and it’s okay to host your big day there. Airbnb has incredible cabins and unique homes all over Utah. Here are some of my favorite ones!
If you’ve always dreamed of having your wedding at a picturesque US national park, read on. The best national parks to get married at in Utah are: Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Moab, Uinta National Park, and Snow Canyon National Park. Getting married at a National Park is a little bit more effort than you might expect, but way cheaper and prettier than a traditional venue. Make sure you can get a permit for your big day before getting your hopes up! I can’t tell you how many couples have made this mistake. Not my couples, but other couples 🙂
Ski Resorts/Vacation Homes (Especially Park City, Utah)
If staying close to home is a priority for your wedding day, make sure to check out local venues & airbnb’s including hotels. Park City doubles their ski resorts as wedding venues during the off-season. Naturally breathtaking and any venue here will ensure your wedding is remembered forever.Â
