When you think of Utah wedding venues, many people think of the iconic red rock. Others think about getting married around Salt Lake, but when it comes to Salt Lake City wedding venues, I wanted to give you a quick summary about my favorites. Favorites that I know you’ll love, too.
But first, what makes these my favorites is an important distinction to make. Because when it comes to your wedding day, nothing is more important to me than helping guide you to the places that you’re going to have the best time at.
The top things that went into my decision-making process for choosing the best Salt Lake City wedding venues primarily included things like:
- Overall aesthetic
- Quality and attention to detail
- Privacy and romance (usually goes hand-in-hand at most venues)
- Quality of portrait locations for your photos
And of course, I wanted to be completely fair to the Salt Lake City wedding venues that I chose for this list, so everything is simply in alphabetical order.

Grand America
The name says it all, really. It’s big, it’s grand, it’s luxurious – and if you’re planning a bit Utah wedding, book a tour to check out the Grand America wedding venue. And with over 75,000 square feet of event space, there’s so many different backdrops for your high-end portraits. With an in-house floral department, the weddings & hospitality team carefully looks after every detail.
Log Haven
The Log Haven wedding venue (in my opinion) is sort of like having a destination wedding without heading far away from your home. And because it’s located just 30 minutes to major ski resorts and other outdoor activities, you can really make the most out of your wedding experience for not only you, but a shared experience with all of your guests, too. With more than 40 private acres, Log Haven is the perfect place for all your wedding photos, too.
Louland Falls
One of my personal favorite Salt Lake City wedding venues, Louland Falls has it all. And since it’s only open May through October, make sure to book your date well in advance. It’s incredibly popular, and for good reason. Red rocks surrounding you, private event space to celebrate with your closest friends and family, and such a romantic vibe that you’ll remember for the rest of your life. Do yourself a favor and put Louland Falls on your shortlist to book a tour.
Orangerie & The Red Butte Garden
When looking for a modern space that has an indoor/outdoor capability, the Orangerie wedding venue could be exactly what you’re looking for. After all, it’s that blended approach that caters well to the shoulder season, or on those days in summer where it gets very, very hot. And if it was me, I would certainly have my reception outside in the evening to take in the wonderfully beautiful landscape of the Red Butte Garden.
This Is The Place
There’s ten different venues to choose from on the property! If that doesn’t scream unique, I don’t know what does. And if you take a look through their reviews on their website, many couples mention that it’s quite a perfect blend of being cozy, being elegant, and being truly unique. And there that word comes in again. Book a tour and see for yourself to really see what I’m talking about – because no words can truly describe how amazing this place really is.

The Bonneville Salt Flats are not to be missed. And while they might not be right for a traditional, large wedding – it might be exactly what you’re looking for when wanting to elope or simply have your engagement photos taken.
Spring Farm located in Spring City is also a gorgeous wedding venue that must be noted here, but it’s located south of Provo in historic Spring City.
Snowbasin Resort is for those who are looking for something adventurous, outdoors, and in the mountains. If that sounds like you, make sure to visit! (And you should also check out Park City weddings, too).
