My couple K & S knew they wanted to say “I do” in the rocky mountains far away from their home in Texas. Utah provides a stunning background for elopements with endless options!
The newlyweds planned their elopement for the afternoon. We wanted the light to be perfect! We met at the base of the canyon near Cottonwood Heights and drove to the locations I scouted for them. As a Utah elopement photographer, I am always scouting out areas for my couples elopements. My couple knew they wanted to get married in the mountains and have photos from their wedding in the snow. They wanted epic landscapes with 0 hiking so all their family could immediate family could attend without hasssle.
Epic locations don’t always require hiking! 90% of my elopement locations I scout for couples requires less than a 10 minute walk! How amazing is that?
The couples close friends and family met us at the elopement location via location tag and they had a beautiful ceremony. It was important for the couple to have an intimate event. There was a lot of kisses, tears, and happiness through the afternoon. It was a lovely wedding to photograph and perfect day! After the ceremony me and the videographer, Shades of Jade, took the couple for portraits at all our favorite spots in the canyon!
